Androgynous Verbs
Sometimes a verb will combine a masculine and feminine form. For example:
- Bereshit 30:38: "וַיֵּחַמְנָה בְּבֹאָן לִשְׁתּוֹת" (as opposed to the expected ותחמנה) and see Rashbam, Ibn Ezra, Shadal and R. D"Z Hoffmann.
