(ט-יב) לֹא אוּכַל לְבַדִּי שְׂאֵת אֶתְכֶם... אֵיכָה אֶשָּׂא לְבַדִּי טָרְחֲכֶם וּמַשַּׂאֲכֶם וְרִיבְכֶם.	(יח) נָבֹל תִּבֹּל גַּם אַתָּה גַּם הָעָם הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר עִמָּךְ כִּי כָבֵד מִמְּךָ הַדָּבָר לֹא תוּכַל עֲשֹׂהוּ לְבַדֶּךָ.
Who?	(טז) אֶסְפָה לִּי שִׁבְעִים אִישׁ מִזִּקְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יָדַעְתָּ כִּי הֵם זִקְנֵי הָעָם וְשֹׁטְרָיו	(יג) הָבוּ לָכֶם אֲנָשִׁים חֲכָמִים וּנְבֹנִים וִידֻעִים לְשִׁבְטֵיכֶם וַאֲשִׂימֵם בְּרָאשֵׁיכֶם.	(כא) וְאַתָּה תֶחֱזֶה מִכָּל הָעָם אַנְשֵׁי חַיִל יִרְאֵי אֱלֹהִים אַנְשֵׁי אֱמֶת שֹׂנְאֵי בָצַע
	(כד) וַיֶּאֱסֹף שִׁבְעִים אִישׁ מִזִּקְנֵי הָעָם	(טו) וָאֶקַּח אֶת רָאשֵׁי שִׁבְטֵיכֶם אֲנָשִׁים חֲכָמִים וִידֻעִים	(כה) וַיִּבְחַר מֹשֶׁה אַנְשֵׁי חַיִל מִכָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל
What?		(טו) וָאֶתֵּן אֹתָם רָאשִׁים עֲלֵיכֶם שָׂרֵי אֲלָפִים וְשָׂרֵי מֵאוֹת וְשָׂרֵי חֲמִשִּׁים וְשָׂרֵי עֲשָׂרֹת וְשֹׁטְרִים לְשִׁבְטֵיכֶם.	(כה) וַיִּתֵּן אֹתָם רָאשִׁים עַל הָעָם שָׂרֵי אֲלָפִים שָׂרֵי מֵאוֹת שָׂרֵי חֲמִשִּׁים וְשָׂרֵי עֲשָׂרֹת.
	(יז) וְנָשְׂאוּ אִתְּךָ בְּמַשָּׂא הָעָם וְלֹא תִשָּׂא אַתָּה לְבַדֶּךָ.	(טז) שָׁמֹעַ בֵּין אֲחֵיכֶם וּשְׁפַטְתֶּם צֶדֶק	(כב) וְשָׁפְטוּ אֶת הָעָם בְּכָל עֵת וְהָיָה כָּל הַדָּבָר הַגָּדֹל יָבִיאוּ אֵלֶיךָ וְכָל הַדָּבָר הַקָּטֹן יִשְׁפְּטוּ הֵם וְהָקֵל מֵעָלֶיךָ וְנָשְׂאוּ אִתָּךְ.
	(כה) וַיְהִי כְּנוֹחַ עֲלֵיהֶם הָרוּחַ וַיִּתְנַבְּאוּ וְלֹא יָסָפוּ.	(יז) וְהַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר יִקְשֶׁה מִכֶּם תַּקְרִבוּן אֵלַי וּשְׁמַעְתִּיו.	(כו) אֶת הַדָּבָר הַקָּשֶׁה יְבִיאוּן אֶל מֹשֶׁה

Why?	(18) You will surely wear away, both you, and this people that is with you; for this thing is too heavy for you; you will not be able to perform it alone.	(9-12) I am not able to bear you alone... How can I alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife?	(11-14) That you place the burden of this entire people on me... I am not able to bear all this people myself alone, because it is too heavy for me.
Who?	(21) Moreover you should seek out from among the people capable men, God fearing, men of truth, who hate unjust gain	(13) Take for yourselves men, wise, understanding, and well known, according to your tribes, and I will make them heads over you.	(16) Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, who you know to be the elders of the people and their officers
	(25) And Moshe chose capable men out of all of Israel	(15) So I took the heads of your tribes, wise men, and known,	(24) and he gathered seventy men of the elders of the people
What?	(25) and made them heads over the people rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.	(15) and made them heads over you rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, and rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens, and officers, tribe by tribe.
	(22) And they will judge the people at all times... so it will be easier for you and they will bear the burden with you.	(16) hear the causes between your brothers, and judge righteously	(17) and they should bear with you the burden of the people
	(26) the hard matters they brought to Moshe	(17) and the matter that is too hard for you, you should bring to me, and I will hear it.	(25) they prophesied, but they did so no more.
