Devarim 3 – Summary
Victory over Og, Apportionment of Transjordan, and Moshe's Supplication – Chapter 3 recounts the victory over Og, the king of the Bashan, and the apportionment of the lands conquered from Sichon and Og to the tribes of Reuven, Gad, and half of Menashe. At the end of the Chapter, Moshe relates how he implored Hashem to allow him to enter the Land of Israel. Hashem, though, refused his request, allowing him only to see the land from afar.
