Parashat Korach – Opening Questions
- Against whom were Korach, Datan and Aviram, and the 250 people rebelling? What was the essence of their complaints?
- When Moshe says, "הָאִישׁ אֶחָד יֶחֱטָא וְעַל כׇּל הָעֵדָה תִּקְצֹף", whom is he requesting that Hashem spare? Does Hashem change His mind as a result of Moshe's plea?
- Did Moshe design the test of the incense on his own? How much authority does a prophet have to act without explicit Divine sanction?
