What are the boundaries of this prophecy? The Biur says that this prophecy starts in chapter 56:9 and ends in chapter 57:13.
Who is the righteous who died (הַצַּדִּיק אָבָד) in verse 1? And what is "הָרָעָה" that caused him to die? The Biur claims that the righteous that died was Yotam. The "רעה" that caused his to die is the רעה of Achaz, he died so he will not have to see the רעה.

56:9 – The animals that come to eat are referring to Aram and Ashur which come in the time of Achaz and capture a lot of Israel.
